Elsha Hawk has dabbled in short stories, poetry, written a few full-length novels (most not to see the light of day), won NanoWriMo about 5 times, and written one (lost forever) screenplay. She has tried on epic fantasy, space operas, middle grade adventures, sci-fi westerns, cozy fantasy, dystopian societies, noir, and cyberpunk.

Elsha Hawk is a center-brained, imaginative, pragmatist who errs on the side of optimism. She is a writer, wife, mom, teacher of Middle Schoolers in a self-contained classroom (more and more with #Autism every year), and a go-getter (just another way to say she takes the bull by the horns ♉ ). She is now an aspiring school counselor.

She runs a blog on mental health with positive vibes called Daily Spoonfuls of Sugar.
