Big moment. Big, big moment. You can do this. You are ready for this. You’ve been preparing for this moment for years. You know what to say, what to do, just do it and don’t mess up. Be yourself, be your very awesome self, they will love you and you’ll succeed.

Nothing to be nervous about, just go in there and do what you do best.

Why are they always behind a door? It only heightens the suspense and makes you more anxious. There shouldn’t be doors. You should just be able to see whom it is you are going to speak to. You should be able to see what you’re up against. Then you could fight it head on, meet the challenge, steel yourself for the battle.

Never mind that! You can do this. You were made for this. You deserve this and they would be stupid not to choose you. You are worthy enough to be their equal.

Time’s up. The door opens. Smile. Be polite. Stand up and shake their hand. Firm grip. Follow them. Breathe.

Gulp. This is it.
